Request for training
Our microscopes are available for all MPZPM members. If you want to use them, please send us a brief description of your project and any prior experience with microscopy techniques via email to kyoohyun.kim@mpzpm.mpg.de. We will arrange a training session for you at the earliest convenient time. After completing the training, you will be able to use the microscopes autonomously for your experiments.
The training consists of three parts:
1. User counseling and an introduction to the principles of confocal fluorescence microscopy
2. Demonstration of the LSM980/900 using a fixed sample
3. Hands-on demonstration and practice with your own sample
